BOEING 777 CLICK TO GO TO AD
After extensive review, Boeing determined that Acme's was the only battery/charger system available that could meet the power-to-weigh ratio requirements of the Boeing 777 specification. In addition, the sealed Zero-Maintenance design eliminated ventilation ducts for explosive gasses, eliminated catch trays for corrosive electrolyte spills, and eliminated the largest service item on today's aircraft, battery maintenance.

APACHE LONGBOW CLICK TO GO TO AD
The US Army and McDonnell Douglas issued a formal mandate to greatly improve the reliability of the AH-64D helicopter. Acme's sealed FNC system was selected to replace the existing system. This single subsystem modification produced a 3% improvement in overall aircraft reliability. Considering the size and complexity of the Apache helicopter, this was a major accomplishment.
